Passengers flying on Jetstar were left unable to check into their flights following a major technical outage that crippled the airline’s systems. The budget airline confirmed the outage on Saturday just before 2pm in a reply to a post on social media from a customer who reported not being able to check into his flight. The airline stated that they were experiencing some technical difficulties with their system at the moment and that their team was working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible.

The technical outage lasted for about three hours and resulted in two return flights being cancelled, with check-in kiosks and boarding systems at airports around Australia, Indonesia, and Japan being affected.
