Trembath was a nationally recognized snowboarder at the age of 13 in Australia, after competing in the sport since he was 9 years old. He relocated to the United States at 14, living in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and later in Mammoth Lakes, California. At 17, he turned professional and started a snowboard gloves brand, Grenade Gloves. Trembath also starred in the Fuel TV series "The Adventures of Danny and the Dingo" alongside two-time Olympic silver medalist Danny Kass.
