AmaZulu got back to winning ways in the Betway Premiership with a convincing 3-0 victory over Magesi FC on Saturday evening. Coach Owen Da Gama turned to the bench and installed Kayden Rademeyer in the place of ex-Chippa United midfielder Boikanyo Komane.
However, Dikwena fell further behind minutes into the second half as Tshepang Moremi raced through on goal and rounded Elvis Chipezeze to fire into an empty net. Usuthu showed a fresh pair of legs not long after, with Moremi sacrificed for Andiswa Sithole before Celimpilo Ngema stepped on for Brooks. The host extended the lead within the closing ten minutes when Sithole got on the end of a one-touch passing move and finished at the back-post. Radebe very nearly made it four deep in added time through a close-range attempt following a long ball, but it was cleared off the goal-line as the three goals were enough to seal maximum points, sending Usuthu up to fifth spot. The team is now looking to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches.
