Crystal Palace will be looking to complete their first league double over Ipswich Town since the 2010-11 Championship season when they welcome the Tractor Boys to Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles have been in fine form since the turn of the year, winning eight and drawing one of their last 11 fixtures across all competitions. In contrast, Ipswich has struggled, conceding at least twice in seven of their last nine games.

Team News and Predicted Lineups

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has issued a positive update on Jean-Philippe Mateta, but the striker will miss Saturday's game due to a severe laceration to his left ear. Eddie Nketiah is set to start up front, joined in attack by Eberechi Eze and Ismaila Sarr. As for Ipswich, Sammie Szmodics will undergo ankle surgery and will be out for an extended period, while Axel Tuanzebe is out with a small muscle injury. Head-to-Head and Prediction

The two teams have a rich history, with the Eagles winning the last meeting between them in early December. Ipswich has not tasted victory in this match-up since April 2013. Considering the contrasting form of the two teams, Crystal Palace will be regarded as favorites to come out on top. Even without Mateta, the Eagles will still pose a threat against a defensively frail Ipswich outfit. The predicted scoreline is a 2-0 win for Crystal Palace, with Nketiah and Eze on the scoresheet.
