Indian Institute of Science to Host Open Day on March 1, Showcasing Scientific Developments and Innovations

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is set to host its Open Day on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., providing an opportunity for the public to explore the campus and learn about the latest scientific developments and innovations. The event, held annually near the birth anniversary of IISc's founder, J.N. Tata, coincides with National Science Day, which is observed on February 28 to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir CV Raman. The Open Day will feature a range of activities, including exhibitions, hands-on experiments, live demonstrations, lectures, and panel discussions, showcasing the institute's research and academic pursuits.

The event will allow visitors to engage with the academic community at IISc, learn about the latest research and innovations, and explore the campus facilities.
