ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate Results 2025 Announced: Check Scores and Toppers

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams held in January 2025. Candidates can access their scorecards on the official ICAI websites, icai.org and icai.nic.in, by entering their registration number and date of birth. To qualify for the CA Foundation exam, candidates must score at least 40 marks in each subject and secure a minimum of 50 percent in the overall aggregate. Those who achieve over 70 percent in the overall aggregate will be awarded a “pass with distinction” status. The ICAI conducted the CA Foundation exams on January 12, 16, 18, and 20, 2025, and the results are now available online.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official websites once they are announced. However, the official ICAI result website, icai.org, is currently experiencing errors, and candidates are advised to check alternative official websites. The pass percentage for the CA Intermediate examination is 14.05%, with Group 1 recording 14.17% and Group 2 achieving 22.16%. Furthermore, the pass percentage for the CA Foundation exam across India is 21.52%, which was 19.67% in September 2024. The results are anticipated to be available between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, although an official confirmation of the exact time is still awaited.

The CA Intermediate exam results witnessed outstanding performances, with Deepanshi Agarwal securing the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with 86.83 marks. Other top rank holders include Vidhi Pankajkumar Talati, who secured the 12th rank nationwide in the CA Intermediate examination. Eleven students from Ahmedabad are among the top 50 rank holders in the country. The performance of the Ahmedabad centre in the CA Intermediate exam held in January 2025 was notable, with a pass percentage of 21.94% for both groups combined. The pass percentage for the CA Foundation course at the Ahmedabad centre was 23.16%, compared to the national result of 21.52%.
