Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the operating hours of all services during Ramadan, covering Metro, Tram, paid parking zones, public buses, marine transport, Customer Happiness Centres, and service provider centres. The Red and Green line stations of the Dubai Metro will operate from 5 am to midnight from Monday to Thursday, and on Saturdays, while on Fridays, the operating hours will be from 5 am to 1 am the next day, and on Sundays from 8 am to midnight. The Dubai Tram will operate from 6 am to 1 am the next day from Monday to Saturday, and on Sundays from 9 am to 1 am the next day.
Commuters are advised to check the S'hail App for changes in schedules of buses and marine transport. Public parking timings will be from 8 am to 6 pm, and 8 pm to midnight from Monday to Saturday, while multi-level parking buildings will operate round-the-clock. The Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, and Al Manara will operate from 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm. The Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA’s Head Office will operate round-the-clock.
The service provider centres, including Tasjeel Jebel Ali, Hatta, Al Qusais, Al Barsha, and Al Warsan, will have revised operating hours. From 4:01 pm to 7:59 pm, only vehicle testing services will be available throughout the week. The service timing of other centres, such as Al Mutakamela Al Awir, Al Mutakamela Al Quoz, Wasel Nad Al Hamar, and others, will be from 8 am to 4 pm, and 8 pm to midnight, and on Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm, and 8 pm to midnight. The RTA has also announced that the Al Awir Tasjeel, Al Satwa Autopro, and other centres will have revised operating hours, with only technical inspection services available on Sundays.
The revised timings are expected to facilitate the movement of people during the holy month of Ramadan. The public is advised to check the RTA website or the S'hail App for the complete listing of operating hours and to plan their journeys accordingly. The transport authority has also reminded commuters to follow the rules and regulations of using public transport and to respect the environment by using eco-friendly modes of transport. The RTA's announcement is part of its efforts to provide convenient and efficient transport services to the public during the holy month.
