Celebratory Firing Incident in Noida Leaves Two Injured During Wedding Ceremony

Two people were injured in celebratory firing during a wedding ceremony at a banquet hall in Gautam Buddh Nagar district on Sunday, police officials said. The wedding procession of Alok, a resident of Bisrakh village, had come to the Ashirwad Marriage Home in Sakipur village, where some people in the wedding procession fired in the air at around 10 pm, hitting Santosh and Dayal. They were admitted to a hospital, with one of them in a critical condition, police said. The police commissioner's media in-charge stated that efforts are being made to identify the accused with the help of CCTV cameras.

On February 16, a two-year-old boy was killed after revellers fired shots as part of celebratory firing, shooting him in the head.
