Britain's Got Talent host Ant McPartlin received medical attention after accidentally headbutting a coconut and injuring his forehead during the show's auditions in 2022. The ITV favourite was alongside Declan Donnelly when he was tended to by first aiders. Unaware of his bleeding forehead until Dec pointed it out, Ant had been engaging with an act involving dozens of coconuts on stage, attempting to break one using various body parts. He initially punched a coconut, then hit it against his head, and despite the mishap, Ant maintained his humour and soon returned to the stage for another go at cracking coconuts.
The popular ITV talent show returns with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli. Ant and Dec return to host the show, with social media star and musician KSI joining the panel as a guest judge. Simon revealed that he had a near-death experience while filming the latest series when he was asked to lay next to a line of watermelons as a contestant smashed them with a sledgehammer. The 65-year-old said it was the closest he had come to feeling like someone wanted to kill him, and the health and safety guys stopped the contestant, saving his life. McPartlin said he and the rest of the cast were scared for Simon Cowell's life and added that there is a lot of danger in this year's series, with dangerous acts and extreme challenges.
Ant and Dec have hosted many popular shows from Saturday Night Takeaway to I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
