Kate Hudson has been making waves with her new Netflix series Running Point, which marks her first foray into TV. The show sees her take the helm of her family's L.A. basketball team, the Waves, while navigating a chaotic sibling dynamic with her scheming brothers. Luckily, Kate had plenty of real-life experiences to pull from as she stepped into the role, thanks to her own "crazy sibling dynamic" with her brother Oliver Hudson.

Oliver was pulling for a cameo in Running Point but didn't quite make the cut. However, creator Mindy Kaling jumped in to say that Oliver "will be" making an appearance — someday. Kate joked that her brother could play a "dead body" just to get him onscreen, and when Kaling suggested he'd be "annoyed" with that role, Kate revealed he's game for anything. She also reflected candidly on how important her family is in her life, including her brother Wyatt Russell, who her mom Goldie Hawn welcomed with husband Kurt Russell.

Kate has also been speaking out about the one question she's tired of constantly answering, which is about what advice her parents gave her about Hollywood. She revealed that she's been working in the industry for 25 years and is still being asked the same question. She'd rather be asked about her relationship with her mother now or other more interesting topics. Kate also lifted the lid on whether her family would consider starring in their own reality TV show, admitting that it would be hilarious but also very inside and personal.

In other news, Kate has been making headlines with her promotional press tour for Running Point, including a drunken appearance on a night out with her fiance Danny Fujikawa in New York. However, she bounced right back with a fun appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, appearing no worse for wear. Running Point is now streaming on Netflix, and fans can catch Kate in her new role as the head of the Waves basketball team. Some of her notable works include:
