Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyoncé, recently appeared on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" to talk about her daughter's big wins at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Beyoncé took home the awards for Best Country Album and Album of the Year for her 2024 album "Cowboy Carter", and her mother was overwhelmed with excitement and shock. Knowles explained that she was at Beyoncé's house on the day of the Grammys, helping her and her granddaughter Blue Ivy get ready, and was not expecting her daughter to win.

Knowles recalled that when Beyoncé won, she was sitting with her grandchildren Rumi and Sir, and they were all in a state of disbelief. She mimicked Beyoncé's stunned expression, saying "I said, 'Oh, it's real!' I couldn't believe it." Knowles also poked fun at her granddaughter Blue Ivy, who immediately stepped in to make sure her mom was ready to go after she won. "It was funny because then they show Blue... and Beyoncé is sitting like this and Blue is saying 'get up,'" she recalled, adding that Blue is a "bossy little Capricorn like her grandma."

In addition to talking about the Grammys, Knowles also gushed over her granddaughter Blue Ivy, who has shown off her musical talent by appearing in her mother's onstage dance routines. Knowles affectionately said of Blue, "She's a bossy little Capricorn like her grandma." When asked if Blue will follow in her mother's footsteps, Knowles replied that she doesn't know, because Blue is a "jack of all trades" and can do many things. She also mentioned that Blue's mother gives her advice, and they don't need her to give advice, saying "they tell me to mind my business."

Beyoncé's wins at the 2025 Grammys were historic, as she took home her first Album of the Year award, despite being nominated several times in the past. She also won Best Country Duo/Group Performance alongside Miley Cyrus for their hit "II Most Wanted". With these wins, Beyoncé currently holds the title of most-decorated artist in Grammys history, with 35 wins and 99 nominations to her name. Some of her notable awards include:

  • Album of the Year for "Cowboy Carter"
  • Best Country Album for "Cowboy Carter"
  • Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "II Most Wanted" with Miley Cyrus

Knowles' interview on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" gave a glimpse into the close bond between Beyoncé and her family, including her mother and children. It also showcased Blue Ivy's personality and her potential future in the entertainment industry. With her mother's guidance and support, Blue Ivy is sure to make a name for herself in the years to come. As for Beyoncé, she continues to break records and push boundaries in the music industry, solidifying her position as one of the most successful artists of all time, with a legacy that will be remembered for generations to come.
