Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (3 Days To Go): Off To Flying Start In India

As advance ticket sales for the much-awaited Pan India film Kalki 2898 AD get underway in the Telugu states and tickets are selling like hotcakes, the Prabhas-mania has officially begun.

The science fiction epic, which was directed by Nag Ashwin, began full pre-sales in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka on June 23 in the evening. Over 200K tickets have already been sold for the film through the Book My Show exclusively ticketing system as of right now (a thorough report will be available soon).

Advance Pre-sale bookings reactions in South India, particularly in the Telugu regions, were anticipated given Prabhas's stature as one of the biggest cinema stars and his devoted fan base.

Pre-sales are slowly starting in North India, where Prabhas has the largest fan following of any South Indian actor. However, the initial response is not that great.

Kalki 2898 AD is attempting to break the record for the most pre-sales of an Indian film, and judging from the initial response, it's in the running to do so. Much, though, will rely on how well the Hindi version does, given that most of the most successful Pan-India films in recent memory have performed admirably there.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the sci-fi epic stars Prabhas in the lead role alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. The movie will be hitting theatres on June 27 in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil in several formats, including IMAX.
