The 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony, hosted by David Tennant, was a night to remember, with Conclave and The Brutalist taking home four awards each. The event, which celebrated the best in film from the past year, saw a range of talented individuals and films recognized for their outstanding work. Conclave, a drama about the election of a new Pope, won awards for Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, and Editing, while The Brutalist, a 3.5-hour epic, won awards for Director, Leading Actor, Cinematography, and Original Score.
Other notable winners included Mikey Madison, who won the award for Leading Actress for her role in Anora, and Zoe Saldaña, who won the award for Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez. Adrien Brody also won the award for Leading Actor for his role in The Brutalist, and Jesse Eisenberg won the award for Original Screenplay for A Real Pain. The ceremony also saw the presentation of the BAFTA Fellowship to actor Warwick Davis, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the film industry.

The ceremony also featured a range of performances and tributes, including a performance by Take That and a piano tribute by Jeff Goldblum during the In Memoriam section. The EE Rising Star Award, voted for by the public, was presented to David Jonsson. The BAFTA Fellowship, the highest accolade bestowed by BAFTA, was presented to actor Warwick Davis, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the film industry. The features of the BAFTA Fellowship include: recognition of an individual’s outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, games, or television, and a lifetime achievement award.
