RRB Recruitment 2025 Extended Registration Deadline and Exam Updates

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have extended the application deadline for 32,438 Assistant and other vacancies to March 1, 2025, at 11:59 pm, on their official website, rrbapply.gov.in. Previously, the deadline was set for February 22, but candidates can now apply for these vacancies up to the new deadline. The application process began on January 23, 2025, and candidates can pay the application fee up to March 3, 2025, after the application window closes. A correction window will also be available from March 4 to March 13, allowing candidates to make changes to their application forms.

The RRB recruitment drive is being conducted for various posts under the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN 08/2024) for level 1 of the 7th CPC pay matrix. The selection of candidates will be done through a four-stage process, including a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. To pass the exam, unreserved and EWS category candidates need to score at least 40 per cent marks, while OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST candidates need to score at least 30 per cent marks. The application fee for this recruitment drive is ₹250 for PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Community, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, and ₹500 for all other candidates. The application fee will be refunded after deducting bank charges after appearing for the CBT, with ₹400 being refunded for all other candidates. Candidates who have passed Class 10 or ITI or equivalent or have a National Apprenticeship Certificate granted by the NCVT can apply for these vacancies, and should be at least 18 and not more than 36 years old on January 1, 2025.
