Heavy metal legends Disturbed and Megadeth have announced a massive Scottish show for later this year, with the iconic bands set to rock the OVO Hydro on October 28, 2025. Disturbed has seen record-breaking music success with sales of over 17 million albums and 14 billion streams, with their biggest track, Down With The Sickness, recently certified 8x platinum and streamed 2.5 billion times worldwide. The group, founded in 1994, have released eight studio albums, with five of them taking the top spot in the US charts, and are known for their powerful live performances.

The band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album The Sickness with a milestone gig in Glasgow, with support coming from special guests Megadeth. The 'thrash metal' trailblazers were formed in 1983 and have seen their fair share of success, including a platinum album in 1986 and a commercially successful album in 1992, Countdown to Extinction. Their most recent album, The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!, was released three years ago, and they are set to bring their unique sound to the UK and European tour, which will feature two different sets, including a full set of greatest hits and a performance of The Sickness in its entirety.

Disturbed and Megadeth will be performing at various venues across the UK and Europe, including the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, with tickets on sale from February 28, 2025, at 10am, and presale starting at 10am on February 27, 2025. The tour marks a major milestone for Disturbed, who have been making music for over two decades and have built a loyal fan base. The band's lead singer, David Draiman, has expressed his desire to collaborate with influential artists, including Kendrick Lamar, and has stated that the band's music is about unity and bringing people together.
